I’m Haley, the proud owner, designer, and sole therapist here. When you book a treatment, you’ll be in my capable hands throughout your experience.

With over 20 years of massage therapy experience, I've honed my skills after receiving a full scholarship to the Australia College of Natural Medicine. During my four years of study, I earned a Cert IV in Massage, a Diploma in Remedial Massage, and a Degree in Musculoskeletal Therapy.
​
My journey began in Brisbane, where I worked in various clinics and day spas. Seeking new adventures, I traveled to Dublin, Ireland, to work as a massage therapist in the vibrant Temple Bar area—a truly exhilarating experience!
​
The travel bug took hold of me again, leading to a dream position at Aqua Day Spa aboard the Celebrity Solstice cruise ship. For nine months, I treated clients while sailing through the picturesque Mediterranean and Caribbean, working long hours but relishing my precious day off every week.
​
Upon returning to Australia, I embraced more breathtaking surroundings at the Alpine Spa in Cradle Mountain Lodge, Tasmania, where I enjoyed views of snowy landscapes and local wildlife from my treatment room.
​
Next, I warmed up in Hamilton Island, working at both Spa Qualia and Spa Wumurdaylin. My experience there not only ignited my passion for spa treatments but also led me to meet my husband. I stayed for three wonderful years before returning to the mainland, where we settled in North Brisbane, Narangba, with our lovely family of five.
​
I launched my first business, Kids Asleep, Parents Retreat—a mobile massage service that caters to busy parents at home after their little ones go to bed. While balancing this endeavor with evening treatments, I began to create Crinum Spa Retreat from the ground up. I’ve dedicated countless hours to this space, personally painting every surface and agonizing over each minute detail.

CRINUM SPA RETREAT
Crinum (pronounced Cry-Nuhm) holds a deeply personal significance for me. I grew up on a cattle property in Central Queensland named Crinum, which was inspired by a beautiful lily native to the region.
​
This lily is particularly special because it only blooms after rain—a symbol of hope and renewal. On a cattle property, those moments following rainfall were the most cherished. We faced numerous droughts (my family still experiences this), and when we finally received that precious rain, it felt as though the land was celebrating alongside us, with delicate white lilies gracing the paddocks.

Naming my day spa Crinum feels right because just like the lily, you can celebrate life’s blessings. Even in challenging times, take comfort in knowing that, like the lilies, good things are still there, patiently waiting to bloom again. Rain will always come, and that thought brings a sense of reassurance.
